About the Role Psychotherapists at Lorenz work in applied roles, delivering assessment and intervention to clients of all types. Clinicians are free to function within their own areas of competence, specialty, or expertise. Our clinics are embedded in communities with traditionally stark access disparities. The client census is 43% Medicaid, with a sliding fee schedule that goes to zero. Our no‑show rate is under 10%. We maintain a rich consultation and continued professional development schedule, as they are key to our committee‑run, evidence‑based Wellness Roadmap. Key job duties include but are not limited to: Providing psychological services including conducting diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and discharge planning for patients of the clinic. Attending and participating in regular case consultation, Grand Rounds, team meetings, and other meetings as required. Requirements A doctoral degree in psychology from an APA‑accredited academic program. Full, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) in Minnesota (or license‑eligible). At least 2 years providing clinical supervision (preferred). Formal training in child or family therapy (preferred). Competence within relational psychotherapy models strongly preferred. Compensation The compensation hiring range for this role is $116,000 – $160,000 per year, which is dependent on candidates' qualifications, program fit, chosen caseload, activities, and competencies. The hiring range for psychologists doing primarily psychotherapy is $116,000 – $140,000, while the hiring range for those doing primarily assessment is $120,000 – $160,000.
