Security Manager

Job Summary -Administers, coordinates, and evaluates security programs that support the strategy, policies, and standards established for the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Compiles data and analyzes results of audits, inspections, daily logs, and incident reports to assess security vulnerabilities, measure program effectiveness, and identify the need for additional resources. Coordinates investigative research for employees threats or job candidates with applicable entities. Assists with the development of training, education programs, and communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is prepared for potential security issues, crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Monitors communications and stays informed about local, state, provincial, or federal security-related information, directives, and events. May coordinate or assist with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures.Regulatory RequirementsBachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.Law enforcement or first responder experience preferred.A well-qualified candidate has experience with technology, data analytics, training development, and FEMA EMI training.Language SkillsAbility to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.Additional languages preferred.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to prepare training modules that are easy to understand.SkillsExcellent computer knowledge.Ability to operate office equipment.Extensive knowledge of fire prevention, safety, and security operations.Excellent management and supervisory skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Able to perform other miscellaneous duties as required.Ability to travel between facilities as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mary Rutan Health
