Pay Grade/Pay Range:   Minimum: $56,600 - Midpoint: $73,600 (Salaried E9)

Normal Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; Must be able to respond to crisis situations during non-work hours/days.

Job Summary:  The Title IX EOP Investigator I performs fact-gathering and investigative functions primarily related to sexual misconduct and harassment, and protected class discrimination and harassment incidents for faculty, staff and students.

Additional Department Summary:  Receives, analyzes, and investigates reports of alleged violations of the University’s Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy, the Harassment Policy, the Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy, the Consensual Romantic Relationships Policy, and other applicable University policies. Accurately and promptly maintains records. Communicates and collaborates with coworkers, supervisors, campus partners, and others. Provides training to the campus community. Participates in training related to applicable federal and state laws and University policies.

Required Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of Title IX experience; OR master's degree or juris doctorate.

Skills and Knowledge:  Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with people. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Ability to conduct investigations and gather evidence. Ability to remain neutral in conducting investigations. Ability to maintain sensitive and private information. Ability to work in stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications:  Experience with conducting investigations and gathering evidence. Experience in human resources, law, or a related field. Experience working in a higher education setting.
