Machinist Skilled - 1st Shift

Position Summary Parker Hannifin is seeking a Machinist Skilled for 1st shift to set up and operate heat treat equipment (Nitride). 1st Shift - 5 AM to 1:30 PM Responsibilities Keeps machines and work areas clean and organized. Performs basic preparation of setups (only as allowed by supervisor on PSPF 013, posted in that cell). Actively participates in High Performance Teams and company-sponsored training programs. Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal instructions is required in order to perform the duties described above. Strong attention to detail. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing, previous experience with metal manufacturing a plus. Ability to demonstrate this knowledge to the supervisor. Previous experience in this field preferred but not required.
