About the Role:

The Receiver plays a crucial role in the supply chain process by ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and documented. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations. The Receiver will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that products are stored correctly and are readily available for distribution. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential, as the Receiver will be tasked with managing inventory records and addressing discrepancies. Ultimately, the Receiver contributes to the seamless flow of goods, which is vital for meeting customer demands and maintaining operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring that all items match the purchase orders.
• Document and report any discrepancies or damages in received goods to the appropriate personnel.
• Organize and store received items in designated areas within the warehouse, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
• Assist in inventory management by updating records and conducting regular stock counts.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of incoming shipments and support overall warehouse operations.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include attention to detail, which is essential for accurately inspecting and documenting incoming shipments.
