\n \nAbout the role
\nViakable is looking for a Project Manager to support the expansion of its manufacturing operations in La Salle, Illinois.
\n \nThis position will coordinate the facilities, utility and equipment-installation activities required for capacity increase and new machinery expansion project
\nThe selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that new machinery and supporting infrastructure are installed safely, on schedule and in accordance with technical, quality and operational requirements.
\n \nThe role offers the opportunity to participate in a strategic plant expansion, work with new manufacturing technologies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, maintenance, production and external contractors.
\n \nWhat you will do
\n- \n
- Lead project planning and execution for machinery, equipment, utility and facility installations, including schedules, budgets, milestones and investment commitments. \n
- Define and validate engineering requirements, drawings and technical specifications for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and water systems, including foundations, anchoring and utility connections. \n
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely and compliant installation, positioning, connection and commissioning of equipment. \n
- Manage technical risks, project records, bid comparisons, progress reporting, documentation and training, while resolving installation issues and recommending improvements. \n
What we are looking for
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation Engineering or a related engineering field. \n
- At least five years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial expansion, facilities, maintenance or machinery-installation projects, including coordination of contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams. \n
- Strong knowledge of industrial utility and installation systems, technical drawings and specifications; working knowledge of AutoCAD and demonstrated project-management, planning and problem-solving skills. \n
- Professional English proficiency for technical and cross-border collaboration, with availability for occasional travel; manufacturing or industrial-expansion experience is preferred. \n
Compensation and benefits

- Annual base salary of USD $85,000 to $95,000 . Final compensation will be determined based on job -related experience, qualifications and skills. \n
