Event Staff AssociatePartyhands DC is seeking reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Event Staff to support the successful execution of events. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy fast-paced environments, working with people, and being part of creating memorable experiences.Event Staff Associates play a critical role in delivering high-quality service to clients and guests by assisting with setup, guest interaction, and breakdown of events.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Setup & BreakdownAssist with loading/unloading equipment and suppliesSet up tables, chairs, linens, décor, and signage according to event plansBreak down and pack materials efficiently at the end of eventsGuest Experience & ServiceGreet guests in a friendly and professional mannerProvide directions, answer questions, and support guest needsMaintain a positive, helpful presence throughout the eventFood & Beverage SupportAssist with food service, buffet setup, or passed hors d'oeuvresMonitor cleanliness and restock service areasFollow food safety and sanitation guidelinesEvent OperationsFollow instructions from event captains or supervisorsAdapt quickly to changing needs or timelinesSupport overall flow and logistics of the eventQualificationsPrior experience in events, hospitality, catering, or customer service preferred but not requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team and take directionProfessional appearance and demeanorReliable, punctual, and detail-orientedPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 30–50 lbsComfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditionsSchedule & AvailabilityFlexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to commit to scheduled shifts and arrive on timeCompensationHourly rate: $25-30 per hour plus tipsOngoing opportunities for additional shifts based on performanceWhy Join Us?Work in dynamic, exciting event environmentsFlexible schedulingOpportunity to build experience in hospitality and eventsBe part of a team that delivers exceptional experiencesSubmit your resume with an introduction to View email address on click.appcast.io.
