The role demands a veteran who can identify and close high-value opportunities, act as a trusted advisor to senior technical executives, and lead discussions on leveraging AI for business and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 15 years in business development or sales leadership within systems integrators, with a strong technical background in data-centric integration and platforms. Extensive experience in the financial services and insurance sectors is essential, and a network in manufacturing is a plus. The role requires an independent executor who can manage the sales cycle, from solution whiteboarding to multi-million dollar contract negotiation, without the support of a large team. The candidate should be adept at portfolio management and be prepared to work in a nimble, results-oriented environment.
