Hospitalist – Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, WV Wetzel County Hospital is a community hospital located in New Martinsville, West Virginia. It serves patients from the Northern Panhandle to the Mid-Ohio Valley. The town is situated on the banks of the Ohio River and is conveniently located midway between Parkersburg and Wheeling. Duties: Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system. Establish preventive health practices for patients. Work full‑time, 12‑hour shifts: one weekday shift and one weeknight shift. Qualifications: MD, DO, or foreign equivalent degree. Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. West Virginia Medical License eligible. Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
