Branch Manager - New City

New City, NY — Salary Range: $95,000 - $135,000 . The Branch Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring quality customer service, and drives profitability and growth for Apple Bank. Responsibilities Maintain a balance of sales, service, and operations objectives. Oversee daily branch operations and provide comprehensive retail services. Participate in business development activities to achieve service and growth objectives. Meet assigned sales goals following the bank’s business development model. Manage account/deposit portfolios, cultivate relationships with top customers, and pursue growth. Direct human‑capital activities: staffing, training, delegation, performance appraisals, promotions, and career development. Ensure employee knowledge of internal policies and regulatory compliance. Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss goals, establish priorities, and track progress. Partner with the District Manager to develop/execution strategies aligned to business plans for revenue, expense, and service goals. Drive individual production goals and outbound sales, build referral networks, and promote marketing strategies. Ensure audit controls are followed, support compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, Regulation CC, and Regulation E. Address complex customer service issues and promote new products and services. Reconcile branch general‑ledger accounts, oversee proof processes, and investigate controllable losses. Represent Apple Bank at professional associations, community events, and networking opportunities. Maintain branch facilities, equipment, inventory, and supplies. Recommend system and procedural changes to senior management. Participate in program updates and testing, including disaster recovery, ATM, and scanning equipment. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. 7+ years of banking and operations experience; 5 years in a financial‑institution management role. Proven management record in banking or financial services. Excellent verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and time‑management skills. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team motivation abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and branch software. Knowledge of e‑commerce, e‑banking, and branch banking technologies. Ability to handle multiple ad‑hoc assignments. Must be licensed as a Notary Public in NewYork (and may need an insurance license for approved insurance/annuity products). Travel for mandatory training may be required.
