Dental Financial Insurance Coordinator Colorado Endodontic Specialists We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Dental Financial Insurance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will verify insurance coverage, manage claims and pre authorizations, and serve as a key point of contact for patients regarding their insurance benefits. Your work will support accurate billing and help create a smooth and positive financial experience for every patient. Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday 8:00am-3:00pm Responsibilities Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments Submit insurance claims and pre-authorizations in a timely and accurate manner Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve denials or discrepancies Educate patients on their insurance coverage, co-pays, deductibles, and financial responsibilities Coordinate with the billing team to ensure proper coding and documentation Maintain accurate patient insurance records within the practice management system Respond to patient and insurance inquiries regarding claims and coverage Collaborate with front office and clinical teams to ensure a smooth patient experience Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines Assist with billing-related tasks and support front desk duties as needed Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned Qualifications Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience working with dental insurance Preferred Skills Familiarity with insurance terminology, claims processes, and EOBs Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in dental practice management software Comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of dental codes and common insurance plans Understanding of HIPAA regulations We Offer Competitive Compensation Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more!
