Social Media Manager

Q Prime South is seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee day-to-day social media strategy and execution for a select portion of the roster. This role sits at the intersection of artist management and content planning, partnering closely with managers, artists, and creative teams to execute social campaigns that support releases, touring, and audience growth. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a demanding environment, understands how artist brands grow online, loves live music, and can consistently translate marketing goals into content that resonate with fans. Success in this role means possessing the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and approval processes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage and maintain (4-6) artist social media accounts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, and emerging platforms. Execute consistent 3-week rolling posting schedules tied to album campaigns, touring cycles, and fan engagement initiatives. Serve as the lead project manager for artist social content, overseeing the development of platform-ready assets from initial content capture through final approval and publication. Own the production and timeline delivery of platform optimized content and visual assets. Coordinating directly with management, touring, and label teams across social, video, and promo materials. Monitor platform performance, audience behavior, and engagement metrics and report back to managers on a bi-weekly basis. Translate artist marketing goals into social media campaigns that support music releases, touring, merchandise launches, and fan club activity. Actively monitor fan communities and audience conversations across platforms. Report sentiment back to larger teams. Respond to social media comments, messages, and engagement opportunities when relevant. Stay current on emerging social media trends, platform features, and creator tools. Recommend new formats, series, and strategies that help artists reach new audiences and grow their communities. Provide bi-weekly performance reporting across socials, including clear takeaways, what is working, what is not, and specific recommendations. Willingness to travel: 5-10% Qualifications 1-3 years of experience managing social media for artists or touring musicians. Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple clients simultaneously. Ability to analyze platform performance and translate analytics into strategic recommendations. Strong understanding of major social media platforms and emerging markets including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X. Excellent written communication and copywriting skills. Ability to work flexible hours including late nights and weekends when supporting artist initiatives. Preferred Experience Experience working directly with artists or within artist management. Familiarity with digital marketing tools including social analytics platforms, like Chartmetric and Luminate; and fan engagement systems like Rivett and Laylo. Experience leading creative producers to craft assets such as cutdown clips, social edits, static graphics, event invitations, etc. Experience building content calendars and executing campaigns tied to music releases or live events. Capcut / Canva / Photoshop Experience working in the music industry or touring environment. Strong passion for live music events.
