Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Operating Room experience License: Current RN license in California Certifications: AHA BLS & PALS Must-Have: - Pediatric Operating Room experience of at least 2 years - Experience scrubbing and circulating Ophthalmology cases - Completed references Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Pediatric Operating Room. The nurse will work 12-hour day shifts. This role involves scrubbing and circulating in Ophthalmology surgeries. A minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Operating Room experience is required. Current California RN license and AHA BLS & PALS certification are mandatory. Previous travel nursing experience is favorable. The nurse must be willing to float to other facilities as needed. The unit serves neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of surgical diagnoses. The position supports a variety of surgical specialties including Neuro, General Surgery, and Urology. Skills required include proficiency in scrubbing pediatric surgeries and knowledge of surgical instruments and protocols. The environment emphasizes teamwork and interdisciplinary support.
