In this role, you will coordinate information and provide administrative support to our team to ensure our residents and visitors have the best possible experience. Our ideal candidate has a knowledge of medical terminology and prior experience as a Health Unit Coordinator. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position Preferred Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm or 9:00am to 5:30pm Wage Range: $22 to $26.82 / hour depending on experience. Location: 1438 County Road C East, Maplewood, MN 55109

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Responsibilities:

• Enter physician's orders with high degree of accuracy.
• Schedule medical appointments and transportation.
• Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
• Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors.
• Assist with inventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
• Complete other tasks as requested.

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Skills and Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience as a health unit coordinator, or health information certification desired.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not needed.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
• Time management skills for working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• PointClickCare experience preferred.
