Guest Room Attendant 2

Jamul Casino is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to support housekeeping services in the new hotel and casino property. Responsibilities Help maintain all guest rooms at AAA and company standards. Interact with guests, maintaining professional etiquette and providing excellent service. Create a sense of recognition by using guests’ last names when known. Maintain a safe work environment. Responsible for keys and equipment assigned. Maintain compliance with OSHA requirements. Direct guests to appropriate personnel to resolve problems and concerns. Know room types and locations in the hotel. Know special promotions and events within the casino and hotel. Participate in a high morale atmosphere and positive teamwork. Ensure the housekeeping cart and locker room are clean and organized. Clock in/out at appropriate times and be ready to work at assigned time. Inspect and report room condition and malfunctions in assigned electronic devices or contact dispatch. Review departmental memos. Receive information from previous shift. Assist supervisors and Executive Housekeeper with miscellaneous duties. Return lost & found guest items immediately to Status Board. Perform other duties as assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Qualifications 1+ years experience as a guest room attendant. AAA standard familiarity preferred. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques. Must be able to articulate and communicate effectively. Must have and maintain an appropriate gaming license.
