Job Summary Bartenders are critical to the operation and customer service ethic of the restaurant. The primary function of each employee is to impart exceptional Customer Service skills. From greeting to service and exit, the Bartender is an essential part of the Texas Biergarten experience. Activities & Responsibilities Takes all Phone To-Go & Delivery Orders Maintains the cleanliness of the Bar Responsible for all alcohol sales during shift Takes all customer complaints and addresses them with appropriate staff Maintains all alcohol pricing with help of management Updates Point Of Sale with changes in Food Pricing and general programming of POS Prints out Menus for Food / Beer / Wine as needed Talks with customers and maintains positive relationships and rapport with all customers and staff Trains Servers and Hosts as needed Runs Food and Drinks to tables if Servers are busy or out for delivery Serves Tables when assigned Servers are not available Keeps a running list of improvements that can be made to processes and procedures and communicates them to everyone that needs to know at end of shift Maintains Beer and Wine Inventory: Cleans Lines / Removes Tap Handles / Restocks Wine & Beer Maintains proper Quality Control standards Keeps a professional demeanor In charge of all Front of House personnel during AM and PM shifts Minimum Qualifications Must possess TABC certification Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity Able to communicate effectively with managers and kitchen personnel Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule #J-18808-Ljbffr
