critical thinking skills – and decision making Functions or Scope of Assigned Duties but not limited to: The Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) – Simulation Training and Scholarship Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing expert – evidence‑based education to staff Provides educational instruction and training for nursing staff in clinical and outpatient units Responsible and accountable for the development – promotion – and delivery of professional Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) training for healthcare staff across all departments and services within the medical center in accordance with the RQI Program They assess – plan – implement – and evaluate the compliance with national and local standards for the RQI Program They understand instructional design – implementation – and application related to education and training Performs learning needs assessments – develops educational trainings for staff within organization Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to support and evaluate responses to emergency responses in the facility to include BLS and ALS Organizes – participates – and evaluates mock codes They will coordinate – plan – and implement innovative technologies to provide a safe learning environment that teaches diagnostic – procedural – technical – and communication skills to staff across the medical center Systematically evaluates current practice – formulate outcomes for groups of patients and/or organizational processes within area of expertise Reviews current nursing literature for new trends and changes based on evidence‑based research with the ability to propose practice and documentation revisions based on evaluation of outcomes Collaborates with leadership and unit managers to identify
