Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Hospital Field in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time – Mon 02:00 PM–10:30 PM, Tue 02:00 PM–10:30 PM, Wed 02:00 PM–10:30 PM, Thu 02:00 PM–10:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor screening procedures in accordance with location protocols and healthcare‑related privacy expectations. Support Allied Universal team communication by relaying important updates, assisting with directional information, and following post orders for daily operations and/or after‑hours activity. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
