Job Description As a Security Officer Graveyard Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $18.26 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, as assigned. Help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior by monitoring access points and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during security‑related events. Minimum Requirements Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish. Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Guard card or license is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
