About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required. License: Compact license must be in hand at submission. Certifications: Current certifications as required for the specialty. Must-Have: Experience with HMOs, IPAs, and advanced directives. Experience with protective services process. Ability to work every other weekend. Must be willing to float between units based on need. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in case management. The nurse will handle a caseload of up to 25 patients. Daily responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, and denial appeals. Knowledge of CMS regulations and HIPAA guidelines is essential. Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team. Travelers may need to assist with various patient populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates should be prepared for potential housing assistance during assignment. This role offers a unique opportunity to experience nature, with proximity to multiple parks showcasing diverse landscapes. The community offers a range of housing resources for travelers. Must commit to working three of five holidays, including major holidays.
