Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist and hygienists during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with New York State regulations.
• Record and update patient medical histories and treatment information.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment recommendations.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies.
• Support efficient patient flow and daily office operations.
• Adhere to all OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, and practice safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant experience preferred; new graduates with strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Current Dental Assistant certification, registration, or licensure as required by New York State.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation starting $22.00 per hour and negotiable based on qualifications, skills, certifications, and experience.

$1000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE FOR A LICENSED DENTAL ASSISTANT OR A NON LICENSED DENTAL ASSISTANT WITH 1+ YEARS EXPERIENCE
