Located right in the heart of Lake Orion, Michigan, we have quickly become a favorite neighborhood destination known for our vibrant atmosphere and thoughtful menu. We are currently looking for a skilled Line Cook who loves the energy of a busy kitchen and takes genuine pride in the food they serve. Working here means joining a close-knit group of people who support one another through every shift. We value creativity, consistency, and a positive outlook more than anything else. You won't just be following orders; you will be a vital part of our culinary team, helping us refine our dishes and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of ingredients and cook high-quality dishes according to our established recipes.
- Keep your workstation organized, clean, and prepped so service runs smoothly.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure every plate leaves the window looking great and tasting perfect.
- Monitor inventory levels and let the kitchen lead know when supplies are running low.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to keep our guests and staff safe.
- Support your colleagues during prep and closing tasks to ensure the kitchen stays efficient.
Requirements
- Experience working in a kitchen is a huge plus!
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
- Ability to remain calm and focused during busy shifts.
- Consistent reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Knife skills and proficiency with standard kitchen equipment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
