HR Business Partner II

We are looking for an HR Business Partner II to support leadership and employees across multiple site locations by providing practical HR guidance, delivering HR programs, and helping create a positive employee experience. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, solving employee and manager issues, supporting talent acquisition efforts, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices. What You'll Do As an HR Business Partner II , you will provide day‑to‑day HR support to plant leadership and employees across multi‑sites while helping implement human resources programs and initiatives that support operational goals. Partner with plant leadership to achieve business goals while maximizing talent in quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Implement and support initiatives related to talent management, compensation, payroll and benefits, organizational effectiveness, change management, and employee engagement within local sites. Coach plant leadership on HR best practices to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development. Engage with employees and management to offer assistance on diverse HR‑related subjects to improve work, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Review HR data with other HR functions to make recommendations to management to enable growth and influence organizational culture. Complete employee relations investigations with a focus on facts, legal and policy compliance, and prompt resolution. Perform recruiting functions including requisitions, job postings, resume review, phone screens, interview scheduling and conduct, drug screens, candidate assessments, and make offers. Support or conduct training sessions for managers and employees on various HR topics. Conduct new hire orientation and complete onboarding through HRIS system. All other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring 4+ years of progressive human resources experience. Experience in manufacturing or multi‑site environment. Proven experience in employee relations, coach, and HR compliance. Knowledge of multi‑state and federal HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Experience balancing business partnership with employee advocacy. Strong partnership skills across all organization levels. Tact, good judgment, and professional demeanor in a busy environment. Sense of urgency and ability to meet strict deadlines for internal customers. Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Excellent listening with empathy and analysis. Comfortable communicating at all organizational levels. Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail. Strong HR, problem‑solving, critical thinking, and initiative. Passion for innovative HR‑solutions and process improvement. Ability to travel up to 25‑30% of the time. Medical, dental, vision benefits from first day of the month after hire.
