About the Position

Urgent Care NP or PA

Location: TX

Schedule: Weekdays 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Weekends 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 6-10 shifts per month (weekends prioritized)

Position Overview

Provide urgent care services for pediatric and family medicine patients in an urgent care setting.

Clinical Scope Highlights

• Typical presentations include cough, congestion, incision and drainage, and other common urgent care needs
• Patient volume: approximately 4 patients per hour
• Patient ages: up to 21
• EMR: Experity

Required Qualifications

• Active TX license
• Board certified
• PALS
• Minimum experience: 2 years (pediatric experience preferred)

Credentialing / Onboarding

• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days (may be quicker with Texas Medicaid)
• Texas Medicaid listed as helpful for faster credentialing
