Litigation Assistant

What You'll Do Provide day-to-day administrative and litigation support to attorneys and legal staff. Prepare, proofread, organize, and file bankruptcy-related pleadings, motions, notices, and other legal documents. Monitor court dockets, maintain calendars, and track filing deadlines and hearing dates. Organize and maintain electronic case files, correspondence, and supporting documentation. Assist with document collection, case preparation, and hearing preparation. Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals. Update case management systems and help ensure files remain accurate and organized. Handle confidential client information with professionalism and discretion. Support additional projects and priorities as needed. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a legal assistant, litigation assistant, legal secretary, or in a similar administrative support role. Bankruptcy or litigation experience is preferred but not required for candidates with strong transferable skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word. Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, dependable, team-oriented approach.
