Job Description
As a Security Guard - Patrol Support you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents maintenance concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting issues through established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies common areas parking areas loading zones stairwells and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe building activity to help to deter trespassing unauthorized entry and/or policy violations while supporting daily operations at the location.
- Communicate with property management tenants visitors and first responders as needed regarding security-related concerns incidents and/or requests for assistance.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
