The Lead Technician is experienced in all aspects of medication compounding, clinical pharmacy, and plays a significant role in the coordination of patient services.**Job Description:** **Job Responsibilities** (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)Prescription & Equipment Preparation and ProcessingEnsures sterile preparations meet the clinical needs of patients, satisfying quality, safety, and environmental control requirements in all phases of preparation, storage, transportation, and administration in compliance with regulations.Coordinates and prioritizes prescription processing.Ability to function at an advanced practice level, if allowed per state regulations.Operational OversightCreates technician schedulesAnalyzes operational data and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy.Assists the supervisor with development of policies and processes.Helps ensure training needs are met.Inventory MaintenanceLeads all activities related to ensuring accurate inventory levels.Resolves vendor/supplier issues.Patient Support & ExperienceDevelops processes & scripts for patient inquiries.## **Supervisory Responsibilities**Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?(i.e. hiring, recommending/approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc.)No - X Yes **Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements*** High School Diploma or GED.* Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.* Certified Pharmacy Technician required (CPhT)* Must be licensed and/or registered (if required by state)**Basic Qualifications*** Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.* Able to perform advanced level mathematical calculations.* Excellent organizational skills.* Basic email skills, internet explorer (sending, receiving, and organizing communications).* Basic Internet Explorer skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online.**Physical Demand Requirements*** Ability to stand for extended periods of time.* Frequent bending, stooping, reaching.* Ability to carry at least 30lbs**Travel Requirements: (if required)**None**Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)*** Certified Compounding Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT)* Previous home health experience.May perform other duties as assignedDue to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.Pay Range is $27.26-$45.45**Benefits:**-Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance-Paid Time off-Bonding Time Off-401K Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match-HSA Company Match-Flexible Spending Accounts-Tuition Reimbursement-myFlexPay-Family Support-Mental Health Services-Company Paid Life Insurance-Award/Recognition Programs*Option Care Health subscribes to a policy of equal employment opportunity, making employment available without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship status according to the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, or genetic information.*
