Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.Job DescriptionThe Field Service Representative role at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions involves providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across various industries. This position is critical for ensuring the optimal performance of technologies such as media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, and more. The representative will be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting maintenance, and performing analytical testing to meet customer needs and contract specifications. As a Lead FSR you will have the added task of being a role model and training other FSRs as well as owning site metrics for sites you cover.Key CharacteristicsConduct maintenance and calibration activitiesConsult with customer management and operation teamsExcellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skillsEnsure contract compliance of volume and quality specificationsOperate, monitor, and optimize equipment performanceDuties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentationCreate and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performedMaintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts Monitor and maintain chemical injection systemsPerform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirementsReview customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings , electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teamsProvide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their systemQualificationsRequired:High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 5+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environmentValid Driver’s LicensePreferred :Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in InstrumentationAdditional Information● Ability to travel within the region as neededWe realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
