CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER
Our client is a full-service engineering, survey, GIS, and natural resources consulting firm in its 144th year of business. Headquartered in Bangor, ME, with offices in Portland, ME, and Caribou, ME, our client provides professional services to a wide variety of private- and public-sector clients throughout the United States. Currently we have an opening for a Civil Project Engineer.
This is an opportunity for the right candidate to be a part of a dynamic, high performing team with a reputation for knowledgeable, quality service and long-term client relationships.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field 4-8 years' engineering experience preferred
• Professional Engineer - licensed in Maine or with the ability to gain a Maine license within 1 year
• Experience designing projects including roads/highways, renewable (solar/wind) sites, commercial development sites, and subdivisions.
• Experience in stormwater modeling and regulatory permitting preferred Proficient in client interaction with ability to maintain project schedules and budgets
• Experienced in business development, proposal writing, and scope/budget & schedule preparation
• Comfortable participating in teams to execute projects
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office
