Job Description:The Emily Hotel is looking for a Server!The Server is responsible for exceeding guests’ expectations by providing efficient, friendly guest service. Teamwork, enthusiasm, food and wine knowledge, the ability to multitask and a high energy level are necessary for success in this position.Perks and BenefitsCompetitive pay & a Comprehensive Benefit Package.Other benefits include Health Saving Account, Flexible Saving Account, Employee Assistance Program.Annual Education AllowanceGenerous Referral ProgramFun & collaborative company culture with lots of team building eventsFriends and Family rates for Level Hotels & Furnished Suites, The Opus Hotel, and The Emily HotelWhat Will You Do?Provide efficient, friendly guest service including but not limited to following all steps of service and bussing the table and running food/drinks to ensure a positive guest experienceAccurately record and account for all items ordered, process payments, and balance all sales/receipts in compliance with restaurant policies and proceduresAvailable to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekendsSafely and effectively transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single tripSafely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipmentAbility to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken directionAbility to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environmentWork in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levelsAble to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfacesHandle payment for guest purchases in compliance with The Emily Hotel, Payment Card Industry and cash handling procedures.Maintain positive guest relations at all times.Maintain current and accurate knowledge of the outlet menu.What You Bring?Minimum 2 years experience in a fast paced bar and/or restaurant preferred.High School Diploma or GED preferredPassion for hospitalitySalary Range:$14.58 / HourlyAbout The Company:OnniFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
