Service Technician# Service TechnicianSanta Barbara, CA 93105## OverviewSalary Range$33.80 - $33.80 Hourly## Responsbilities* Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards.* Accurately diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and drivability concerns.* Complete repair orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.* Test drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic equipment to identify concerns and verify repairs.* Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding recommended repairs, additional work needed, and estimated completion times.* Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications.* Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through ongoing training and manufacturer programs.* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with dealership policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.* Maintain a clean and organized work area.* Deliver repairs correctly and on time to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.## Qualifications* Previous automotive technician experience required.* Ford, or other Domestic OEM certifications preferred.* ASE certifications are a plus.* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.* Technical or trade school education preferred.* Ability to read and interpret repair procedures and technical information.* Strong communication and teamwork skills.* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.* Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.* Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. #J-18808-Ljbffr Perryfordsantabarbara
