Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) for our client in Spokane, WA 99208 . This is a 13 week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Position Title: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)
Location: Spokane, WA 99208
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Pay rate: 35-38$/hr

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of reusable surgical instruments and equipment.
• Process flexible endoscopes, including bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, cystoscopes, EGD scopes, ERCP scopes, and other specialty scopes.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including steam sterilizers, Steris systems, Sterrad systems, washers, and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Assemble and organize instrument trays, loaner trays, and specialty surgical sets for various surgical services.
• Ensure proper labeling, wrapping, and documentation of sterile supplies according to department and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate instrument tracking and equipment documentation using the Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM).
• Support Operating Room and procedural departments by providing timely delivery of sterile instruments and supplies.

• Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of travel Sterile Processing experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be screened for review.
• CBSPD or HSPA/IAHCSMM certification required.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Experience with decontamination, sterilization, scope reprocessing, and surgical instrument assembly required.
• Experience with robotics, SPD sterilization equipment, SPD decontamination equipment, and SPM instrument tracking required.
• Ability to work occasional weekends, approximately every 3rd weekend.
