About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. You’ll work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, producing quality welds based on blueprints and specifications.
This is a great opportunity for a welder who is confident with both TIG and MIG and enjoys hands-on work where quality and attention to detail matter.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of TIG welding experience
- 2+ years of MIG welding experience
- Experience welding aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with welding safety procedures
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Aerospace or similar manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
- Welding certifications such as AWS or ASME are a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working around heat and in confined work areas
- Able to perform hands-on welding work for extended periods
What You’ll Do
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping them before welding.
- Inspect completed welds to make sure they meet quality requirements.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and keep your work area clean.
- Work with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
TIG Experience
You should have experience with:
- TIG welding aluminum
- TIG welding stainless steel
- TIG welding carbon steel
- Reading blueprints and welding symbols
MIG Experience
You should have experience with:
- MIG welding carbon steel
- MIG welding stainless steel
- Reading blueprints and welding symbols
Welding Skills Test
As part of the interview process, you’ll complete a hands-on welding test demonstrating your skills on:
- Carbon steel
- Stainless steel
- Aluminum
You’re welcome to bring your own welding helmet and gloves for the test. If you don’t have them, the necessary equipment will be provided.
If you have at least 2 years of both MIG and TIG welding experience and are comfortable working with aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel, we’d like to hear from you!
