Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Float to Nursery and Post-Partum units as census and staffing needs require
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Deliver care in a Level 3 OB unit utilizing Meditech EHR and standard OB equipment
• Adhere to patient ratios and unit protocols in accordance with established clinical guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Intermediate fetal monitoring certification or above; STABLE certification required for Nursery assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both Labor & Delivery and Nursery care settings
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system
• Comfort working in a lower-volume OB unit with a collaborative, flexible team environment
