Inpatient Healthcare ProviderLocation: Anchorage AKReasons to Join:Comprehensive Care: Provide individualized care plans for patients of all ages.Team Collaboration: Work in a diverse team dedicated to exceptional patient results.Flexible Hours: 7 days on, 7 days off schedule.Autonomy: Direct patient care, from assessments to follow-ups.Growth Opportunities: Gain experience with diverse patient groups and complex medical conditions.Responsibilities:Location: Inpatient mental health facility.Position available as full-time or part-time.Perform thorough medical assessments, including initial evaluations within 24 hours of admission, follow-up care, and discharge planning.Collaborate with mental health professionals to develop integrated treatment plans for medical and psychological needs.Assist in managing patients with multiple medical conditions alongside mental health providers.Educate patients and families on medical issues, medications, and lifestyle changes for improved wellness.Provide medical consultations and recommend tests and treatments as necessary.Deliver emergency care within your scope of practice until specialized help is accessible.Qualifications:License: Active Alaska NP/APRN license or eligibility for licensure.Educational Background: Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Certifications: AANPCB Board Certification.Experience: At least 1 year of post-training experience in an inpatient or acute care environment preferred (background in behavioral health is advantageous).Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a patient-centered approach.
