Role Description The Office Associate role at Bardach Awards, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Indianapolis, IN. The Office Associate will handle daily administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, managing incoming orders, and maintaining accurate records. This role includes supporting customer service by greeting visitors, assisting customers with order inquiries, and coordinating with production staff to ensure timely completion of orders. The Office Associate will help with basic accounting tasks such as invoice processing, payment recording, and data entry into internal systems. The position also involves organizing files, managing office supplies, updating order status information, and assisting with other office duties as needed to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear phone etiquette, professional email writing, and effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills, including data entry, filing, scheduling, document management, and maintaining organized records.
• Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve basic issues, and provide a positive experience for walk-in, phone, and email customers.
• Basic Accounting skills, such as handling invoices, recording payments, and supporting simple bookkeeping tasks with accuracy.
• High attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy office environment.
• Proficiency with common office software (e.G., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and willingness to learn internal systems.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Indianapolis, IN, and collaborate effectively with a small, close-knit team.
• Previous office, retail, or customer service experience is preferred;
  a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
