Position Summary:

Ensure the production teams and processes are prepared to meet the production schedule while achieving plant financial & operational objectives.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM) & Overtime Eligible

First Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures production goals are met.

• Assures production schedules are met

• Reports monthly to Operations Manager results of production performance

• Works to establish improvement plans for production goals

• Collaborates with 1st Shift to ensure correct priorities are being worked on

Second Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures production workforce is adequate

• Trains & certifies production employees

• Ensures each production team has appropriate personnel resources

• Evaluates skill set requirements for teams

• Develops and Mentors production team

• Provide bi-annual and annual reviews to team

Skills and Abilities:

• At least 2-5 years in a leadership role preferred.

• Experience in deep drawn stamping industry preferred.

• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a manufacturing environment that is adjacent to the shop work environment. The employee must be aware of potential hazards, including, but not limited to, working in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, operating vehicles, exposure to electrical current, high temperatures, and chemicals. It's important to maintain a high level of alertness and caution while performing tasks in this work environment.

Salary Description


$25.00 to $27.00 per hour (pending experience)
