We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team.
About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at St Johnsbury Center for Living and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients. You will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and regain independence. Your expertise will enable our patients to recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgery, and return to their daily lives with confidence.
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed physical therapists with patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans
Implement treatment plans, including exercises, stretches, and modalities
Conduct patient therapy sessions, providing education and support to patients and families
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Participate in patient care conferences and discharge planning
