Join a geriatric pain management practice in Ohio as an NP or PA and turn your RN experience in ortho, pain management, SNF, or high-volume ER into flexible extra income. County and trauma ER nurses adapt especially fast, since they’re already used to the pace. You’ll round on skilled nursing residents in Columbus and Springfield with formal onboarding from your first visit. Each visit is a focused pain check, not a full exam, and pay is low-risk: $10 per visit, with at least $150 guaranteed at every facility you work at in a day. One provider covers both cities. Malpractice with tail coverage is included. Key Responsibilities Assess and document resident pain during focused rounds Adjust treatment plans and prescribe pain medications, including controlled substances Coordinate referrals for PT, acupuncture, and interventional care Collaborate with physicians and facility staff Document in TEBRA and PointClickCare Qualifications Active, unrestricted Ohio NP or PA license AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FNP-BC, or PA-C Active DEA and comfort with controlled substances Able to cover both Columbus and Springfield New grads welcome with RN experience in ortho, pain, SNF, or high-volume ER (county or trauma ER a strong plus) Experienced providers with pain, physiatry, SNF, or hospice backgrounds also encouraged Schedule & Compensation Guaranteed $150 minimum per facility per day (a floor, not an extra payment) 10–15 residents per hour | ~$400 for a typical day | ~$4,000/month #J-18808-Ljbffr NPHire
