Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant and collaborative school environment. This contract role runs through June 10th and offers a full-time weekly schedule, allowing you to make a direct impact during the academic year.
Your expertise, whether as a CCC-SLP or CFY, will help young learners reach their full potential by addressing a broad range of speech and language challenges. You’ll work alongside a talented team of educators and clinicians, all committed to providing excellent support for students' communication needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Connecticut teaching license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with elementary school populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
