Property Manager - Baltimore, MD Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, including tenant screening, lease management, rent collection, maintenance coordination, addressing tenant concerns, and ensuring compliance with local regulations, all while maximizing property value and tenant satisfaction.

- Addressing tenant complaints and concerns promptly
- Handling tenant turnover, including move-in and move-out inspections

- Conducting regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance with contractors
- Overseeing emergency repairs and addressing urgent issues
- Managing preventative maintenance schedules

- Setting rental rates based on market analysis
- Preparing and managing property budgets
- Tracking expenses and income related to the property
- Monitoring property performance and identifying areas for improvement

- Ensuring adherence to local landlord-tenant laws and regulations
- Handling eviction procedures when necessary
- Staying updated on legal changes impacting property management

- Advertising vacant units to attract new tenants
- Showing properties to potential tenants
- Managing online property listings
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Property Manager or Area Manager in multifamily housing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants and contractors
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Financial literacy to track expenses and manage budgets
- Problem-solving abilities to address tenant issues and maintenance concerns
- Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and regulations
- Basic understanding of property management software
