PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Maintains warehouse and transports supplies and product from area to area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Operate forklift machine in proper manner as required by OSHA regulations and company policies and training. We specifically use the Crown RC 5500 stand-up lift.

·       Move raw ingredients and materials from the receiving warehouse to specific production lines in a timely manner to ensure that production keeps moving.

·       Remove finished goods from production lines to staging area of shipping warehouse so as not to cause production to stop.

·       Wrap skids of finished product so that products are not damaged in shipping.

·       Responsible for monitoring, record keeping, and taking appropriate action for specified Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and prerequisite program requirements.

·       Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma required.
• Must complete and pass company forklift training.
• Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per day, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, twist, and pull.
