Schedule: Fully on-site, Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hours may vary) Business Operations Specialist Top Skills: Financial Analysis Data Modeling Revenue planning Summary: The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed quotations using templates and pricing structures. Analyze customer requirements and specifications to determine products and pricing. Collaborate with sales teams to gather necessary information for Quote preparation. Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros) to perform complex calculations and analyze data. Create and update opportunities, products, price books, and quotes within Salesforce. Ensure accuracy and consistency across all quoted materials. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding quote status updates. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business management, finance, accounting, or other relevant field. Proven experience working with Microsoft Excel at an expert level; proficiency in VBA programming preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of Salesforce features, including opportunity management, product catalogs, and quote generation tools. Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs. Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Excel Skills: Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, Macros/VBA scripting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
