Must-Have: Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) training program


Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse First Assist in the operating room.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of RN experience.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
The RNFA will perform various procedures, including robotics, urology, and thoracic surgeries.
Candidates must have experience with robotics, thoracic, and urology procedures.
The role includes call requirements with self-scheduling for some weeknights and weekends.
Candidates will not be guaranteed block scheduling.
Flu shot requirement is mandatory unless there is documented medical proof of allergy.
A fit test using approved masks is required prior to starting.
Candidates may need to travel for the fit test if required.
All required information must be submitted prior to the start date.
Only candidates with a permanent address 100 miles from the facility will be considered.
References from two managers or charge nurses within the past two years are required.
Required certifications must be listed on the application at the time of submission.
Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
All applicants must meet the qualifications as outlined above.
