Customer Service Associate I

Overview Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. This is a part-time role based in Inglis, Florida. Responsibilities Assist customers with questions and recommendations Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register Maintain security of cash and protect company assets Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and waste removal; keep areas neat and presentable Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting Excellent customer service and relationship management skills Strong organizational and communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Perks And Benefits Medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision insurance Employee Assistance Program Retirement plans Educational Assistance And much more Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds.
