Role Description

100+ positions full-time or part-time, on-site role located throughout Berks County, PA for a Direct Support Professionals. These role involve assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily living activities and supporting them in achieving personal goals.

Responsibilities include fostering independence, ensuring a safe and supportive environment, implementing individualized support plans, and providing companionship. The Direct Support Professional will collaborate with team members to coordinate activities and ensure the highest level of care and support.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge in Human Services or working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities a+ but not required. Training available!
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to establish meaningful relationships
• Effective Communication skills to interact with individuals, families, and team members
• Willingness and ability to participate in on-the-job Training to develop necessary skills
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering independence and personal growth for individuals
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in the field are a plus
• All shifts - flexible hours, including evenings and weekends - part time or fulltime
