Software Engineering Manager II, Full Stack, Cloud Observability

Lead, mentor, and coach an engineering team across junior and senior levels, establishing a high-performance culture and strong remote/hybrid operational practices.Define and drive the multi-project technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for GCP cloud observability products using sound technical judgment.Guide system architecture, scalable deployments, and design standards to ensure high reliability, code quality, and operational excellence.Manage project priorities, timelines, and resource allocation to deliver high-quality solutions predictably in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and user groups to align product initiatives, resolve technical trade-offs, and ensure cohesive service integration.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in software development.3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.2 years of experience in a people management role.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.Experience designing, building, or integrating tools and servers using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI agents with developer tooling, APIs, and enterprise data.Experience building on an agentic framework.
