In this travel CT Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Perform ordered CT exams across the assigned caseload, including emergent studies when assigned
• Administer oral and IV contrast per orders and facility protocol, monitoring patients during and after injection
• Operate CT equipment, selecting approved protocols and applying dose-optimization and ALARA radiation-safety standards
• Capture diagnostic-quality images and complete reconstructions per protocol, providing finished studies to radiologists

Travel CT Tech Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent CT Tech experience.
• Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by North Carolina and national regulatory bodies.

Atrium Health Pineville is a 235-bed full-service hospital in south Charlotte, part of Atrium Health within Advocate Health, with surgical, cardiac, and imaging depth beyond a typical community hospital.

• Heart care runs through Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute, with open-heart and CABG surgery rated STS three-star (top 20%), plus robotic surgery and neurosurgery in the OR.
• The cath lab handles interventional cardiology, and the Pineville campus carries ACC Chest Pain-MI Registry Platinum recognition.
