Section Head, Pediatric Urology

Position Overview Section Head of Pediatric Urology to join the Ochsner Department of Urology and Ochsner Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. Responsibilities Lead a multidisciplinary team of three pediatric urologists and an APP within a rapidly growing pediatric program. Collaborate with clinicians and organizational leaders to advance the pediatric urology service line. Recruit, mentor, and develop pediatric urology faculty and staff. Teach residents and medical students in the Ochsner Urology residency program. Participate in programmatic activities such as the multidisciplinary myelodysplasia clinic and research initiatives. Qualifications Board‑certified pediatric urologist with clinical experience in a tertiary or quaternary pediatric setting. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and organizational leaders. Experience in recruitment, mentorship, and faculty development.
