Physician - Section Head of Pediatric Neurology

We’re seeking a board‑certified Child Neurologist to serve as Section Head at Ochsner Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, LA. The successful candidate will bring proven leadership, team building, program development, and managerial experience. Responsibilities include practice growth and new program development, patient experience, physician recruiting, budgetary performance, productivity, quality, and medical staff management. Responsibilities Lead the Neurology Section, overseeing practice growth and new program development. Drive patient experience, physician recruiting, budget performance, productivity, quality, and medical staff management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric neurosurgeons, allied health professionals, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care. Support or lead programs in headache, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders (including gene therapy), spasticity, craniofacial conditions, neonatal neurology, functional neurological disorders, and epilepsy (including ketogenic diet). Qualifications Board certification in Pediatrics or Neurology with Pediatric Neurology sub‑specialty. Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive clinical and administrative experience, including team leadership and program development. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, quality metrics, and staff performance. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
